Quilts, The Cosmos, and Joan Miro… by talented young artists

Inspiration can come from many places… and I often get more inspired from seeing what kids can do with a nudge in a given direction.

Yesterday I again had the pleasure of teaching some 8 – 13 year olds some watercolour painting. Last week I taught 5-9 year olds and it was equally fun.  But I didn’t think of photographing the results until this week, so I only have photos from yesterday here.  This was all done as part of the Tillsonburg Station Arts Centre’s summer art camp program.  The watercolour quilts are something the Station has been using to teach kids watercolours for a long time but the other projects were of my choosing.  Don’t you think they did beautiful work?!
