Lianne Todd is a watercolour and digital artist living in Otterville, Ontario.

Lianne strives to capture a moment, a place or an idea and to lure the viewer in. Artist’s Statement:

My paintings reflect my attachment to the land, my interest in science, my childhood on the farm, summers on lakes in northern Ontario, hikes through the woods, crisp winter days, flowers in the garden, music, pets, and my two children.  They are images of the places, people, and patterns of nature that I love.  Often the quality of light strikes me at certain moments and my goal is to capture that in my paintings.  I also like combining various images within a painting to express a certain idea or explore a topic.  The fractal nature of the universe fascinates me.  My recent travels have provided me with even more inspiration. My hope, for all of my paintings, is to transfer my appreciation of the subject to the viewer.
